I have experience in payroll processing of hourly, salary, bi-weekly and weekly, comp time and PTO. I have set up deduction, kept up to date with payroll tax law, setting up sub-contractors and vendors on 1099. Sending out W-2’s as well as quarterly and yearly tax submissions.
We can develop timecard forms or make software suggestion that will collect each employee’s data for payroll purposes.

General Bookkeeping
As a bookkeeper, I can perform a variety of duties. I can prepare, control, balance, and check various accounts using standard bookkeeping methods. I can create daily financial transactions in a journal by computer. I can maintain general ledger recordings the status of various accounts by making sure that all the accounts balance. I can also balance the ledgers and prepare financial statements. Verify the accuracy of computerized accounting and record keeping systems, I can perform an audit upon request. If requested I can also prepare statistical, financial, accounting, or auditing reports.
Financial Statement Preparation
Most software programs like Quickbooks, Timberline, Accubuild, Sage Peachtree etc. have financial statements under "Reports". Have you audited these reports, Do some of these line items look greater or less than what you think they should be? Are you happy with the amount of profit you are making? I have had the priveledge to work with some great CPA's in Asheville and they have been mentors to increase my knowledge of Financial Statements. If you are on an accrual basis and in Construction over and under billing audit sheets can be and asset by keeping you from overspending the contract price, they can also show if your profit will increase or decrease.
