I’m a professional bookkeeper.  I have over 20 years of experience.  I have been a bookkeeper in several different kinds of businesses throughout my life.  I have been in accounting for a distribution center,  an insurance broker and a home health care agency while living in Fort Wayne Indiana for many years.

 

In 1996 I moved to Asheville, NC where I still reside, and I continued my experience by working as a physician’s biller.  I then moved into the construction bookkeeping field which strengthened my bookkeeping skills and added another field of expertise.  As a Human Resource Manager and Bookkeeper I obtained much more and exiting knowledge of busines law.  I soon  became Controller for two companies at the same time.  I was taught by some very prominent CPA’s in Asheville on how to prepare, audit and develop financial statements.

 

I am also experienced in Quickbooks, Timberline, Accubuild and Connect Now accounting software.  In the past I worked  for H&R Block which gave me the skills to do Individual Tax Preparation.

 

As a controller for a company I also learned to prepare S-Corp taxes and K-1 schedules.

 

I have also helped my church's Financial Secretary and worked with dedicated accounts etc.

 

By opening my own company I have been able to work with companies in merchandising.
